Professor Kryvoi has over 20 years of teaching and training experience, both as a university professor and instructor for experienced practitioners, government lawyers and academics.

His experience includes in-house training sessions for law firms and government officials, primarily in the United Kingdom, Asia and the former Soviet Union.

He is currently completing a doctoral research project focusing on online legal education at the UCL Institute of Education.

  • Former full-time professor of law at a London university
  • Former external examiner at King's College London
  • LLM from Harvard Law School and member of the New York Bar

  • Creator and instructor, 'International Investment Law and Dispute Resolution' course (massive open online course), 2020.
  • Course director, 'Public International Law in Practice Course', British Institute of International and Comparative Law (since 2019).
  • Supervisor, LLM dissertations (online learning), Robert Kennedy College, Switzerland (since 2018).
  • Courses taught at various universities: Introduction to Public International Law, International Commercial Arbitration and Mediation, Comparative Corporate Law and Governance, International Commercial Law, International Public Law, Legal Aspects of International Finance, International Economic Law, International Investment Law, European Union Law, English Contract Law, International and Comparative Labour Law, Civil Law.
  • Taught international commercial arbitration module at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London, 2015-2018.
  • Conducted training on international economic law and investor-state arbitration for UK government officials with a particular emphasis on Brexit-related issues, Ministry of Justice, United Kingdom, June-July 2017.
  • Taught various international law, commercial law and arbitration courses at the ANC University in Sri Lanka, 2013-2017
  • Taught 'Bilateral Investment Treaties: Rights, Remedies and Related International Arbitration Process (including ICSID)', CPD accredited training, Osborne Clarke, London, United Kingdom, June 2013.
  • Taught a seminar on 'International Trade Regimes' for officials from the former Soviet Union countries on International Trade at a seminar organised by the World Trade Organisation, Istanbul, Turkey, September 2012.
  • Taught a course on international investment arbitration at Bilkent University Faculty of Law in Ankara, Turkey, September 2008.
